Overview:

PCShare is a combined Dragon/PC project designed to enable a Dragon to make use of a PC's facilities (screen, hard disk etc.) and also to assist in the transferral of Dragon/PC files between each machine. Although it was developed with the Dragon in mind as the source machine, there is conceivably no reason that any other machine cannot be used (see the FAQ, below). Along with the PC executable, drivers exist for the OS9 operating system running on the Dragon or other 6809 based machine capable of supporting OS9. Here you can download DOS and Windows versions of the program, along with supporting PC and OS9 drivers.

In addition PCShare is evolving to include support for being driven by some of the many PC Dragon/6809 emulators which are in existence today. Currently the new V4.1 release allows the use of the PCDragon emulator with PCShare.

There is also a Frequently Asked Questions list (FAQ) going into more detail about the project and how to go about using it with any machine, not just a Dragon. Detailed bug lists and bug fixes are also provided along with progress reports on how the project is progressing, both in maintaining existing software and writing new releases.

Finally, at the end of this page there is some other Dragon/PC related information particularly with regard to reading and writing MS-DOS format disks.
